The RLSH community has no standardized training pipeline. The Guardian Angels require three months. CERT requires 24 hours. Search and Rescue requires 220 hours. RLSH requires zero, and the results speak for themselves: arrests, injuries, burnout within months, and a reputation problem that hurts everyone in the community.

PAPS exists to close that gap. Weekly presentations, guided discussions, practical exercises, and a community of people who are committed to doing this properly. Not a social club. Not a cosplay server. A working group.

WHAT WE COVER
De-escalation
Verbal intervention, reading body language, managing tension, the LEAPS framework in practice.
First Aid
Emergency response fundamentals, overdose response, wound care, CPR review, scene assessment.
Legal Knowledge
Use of force, citizen's arrest, recording laws, police encounters, liability, Good Samaritan protections.
OPSEC
Identity protection, digital security, device hygiene, social media exposure, operational patterns.
Patrol Operations
Route planning, communication protocols, buddy systems, documentation, after-action review.
Community Outreach
Care kit building, shelter referrals, rapport with vulnerable populations, working with local orgs.
Physical Readiness
Fitness benchmarks for patrol, endurance training, mobility, carrying loads, operating in weather.
Mental Health
Burnout prevention, setting boundaries, processing difficult encounters, knowing when to step back.

Weekly Presentations
A new topic every week, delivered as a structured lesson with slides, real examples, and actionable takeaways you can apply on your next patrol.
Discussion and Q&A
Every lesson opens a guided discussion. Ask questions, share experience, challenge assumptions. The best learning happens when people with different operational contexts compare notes.
Practical Exercises
Scenario walkthroughs, decision drills, gear reviews, OPSEC audits. Not just knowledge. Application.
Ongoing Community
Connect with other RLSH who take the work seriously. Share resources, coordinate, and build the mutual support structure this community has always needed.

A replacement for certified first aid, CPR, or CERT training
A place to organize vigilante activity
A social media clout factory
A server for people who want to skip the work and go straight to the costume

This is for people who understand that the preparation is the work, and that the best RLSH are the ones nobody ever has to rescue.
